1. Our Privacy Philosophy
At Arctic Luna Devworks we believe your data belongs to you. Our apps (the "Apps") are designed with a Privacy-First approach. We aim to collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to provide a functional experience. For most of our Apps, your data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
2. Information We DO NOT Collect
To protect your privacy, we have made the following engineering choices:
- No Tracking: We do not track your real-time location or your behavior across other apps and websites.
- No Data Mining: We do not sell your personal information, service history, or usage data to third parties.
- No Forced Cloud: Your primary data (e.g., vehicle logs, photos, inventory) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to it unless you explicitly choose to export a backup to your personal cloud storage (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive).
3. Information We Collect (Transparency)
We only collect information in the following limited circumstances:
- User-Provided Information: If you contact us for support, we collect your email address and any details you provide to resolve your issue.
- Technical & Analytics Data: We may collect non-identifiable technical data (device model, OS version, and crash logs) to improve App performance.
- Device Permissions: Our Apps may request access to:
- Camera/Photos: To allow you to snap and store images of receipts or items within the App.
- Storage: To save data locally or generate backup files.
- Notifications: To provide maintenance or status alerts. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a minimal number of trusted third-party services to help our Apps run:
- Analytics & Crashes: (e.g., Firebase or Sentry) to identify bugs and understand general usage patterns.
- Personal Cloud Storage: If you use a "Backup & Restore" feature, your data is transferred directly to your chosen provider (Apple iCloud, Google Drive, etc.) via their secure APIs. We never see or hold this data.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Since we do not store your personal data on our servers, "deleting" your data is as simple as deleting the App from your device. If you have created a support ticket or an optional account:
- You may request full deletion of your contact data by emailing us at dev@arcticlunadevworks.com
- We will process all deletion requests within 30 days
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
